Hello,

I purchased an Exedy Twin, its on backorder for about a week, so I have a bit of time if I want to switch the order. Basically I'm wondering which of these two clutches, exedy twin (NM032SD) and the Nismo Coppermix Twin, has a higher limit in terms of abuse/torque/power/drag launches/etc....

Both the clutches are made by Daikin, and are quality products. Just looking which will last me the longest I'm going for 500whp (gt2860-5 turbos on a built rb26) but might up that power at one point down the road.

Thanks
Mitch

They are totally different clutches (Even though they are made by Exedy).

The Exedy uses a more solid copper style plate, Where are the Nismo is a Copper/Organic mix plate, The Nismo is easier to drive with a more stardard feel to it (easier to slip/ride when pulling away)
I would say the Exedy would handle launchs better, and maybe some more power, But the Nismo at your 500hp would be the pick (What I'm running into my Nismo twin)
