Hi guys bought the Nokia 8801 when i was in Dubai a month back. Used it for the last 2 weeks and now its up for sale,.

It's unlocked to all networks.

Not available in the Uk as of yet, no box as was brought back from Dubai and had no space left! Comes with brand new charger

8801 and 8800 differ in network frequency

8800: 900/1800/1900
8801: 850/1800/1900

850 network is USA only
EUROPE is 900

To my best understanding, you cannot use 850 phone ( 8801 ) in Europe, since it won't eat 900 frequency. While you CAN use it in the States, since 2 or 3 carriers over there DO send out at 900 instead of 850 ( eg. T-mobile )

That's why I recently decided to stick with the 8800, instead of buying the 8801 in USA
