I think I may have finally found a set of TE37 wheels in 17x9 with an offset of ET22. I know they are not ideal but as they are just for drag can anyone advise if they will clear my 6-pot Grex brakes as the ET12 wheels do.

I assume that the offset of 22 means that they will sit further in towards the centre of the car so won't fill out the arches in the same way? I also want to put some 275 section M/T tyres on them - will that work?

Cheers,

George

You're right, the wheels will sit further inside the Arch by 10mm. Spacers could fix that, depends on if you are comfortable using them. Get some hubcentric ones! Eibach or H&R.

I'm no drag or tyre specialist, so can't say anything on the tires, but I can't see why a 275 wide tire shouldn't work on a 9" rim.

Hi George ;) Its me, Rom, the one who is selling the TE's ;) Just in case - here they are on my Ex GTR:

Still in grey color, and still in the same rubber lol
Right. So the next question is are there any kind people out there who have 17" TE37 wheels in 9J with an offset of ET15? If I can prove that they clear my brakes then I can buy the wheels from doggy :clap:

Anyone please??????
