i have a mocal oil cooler and am wondering if its big enough for a 500 - 600 bhp skyline.

its a 19 row mocal 235mm with 5/8 fittings and id pipe.

You might find more replies if you post the appropriate sections.

I would imagine that the oil cooler will be more than fine. I'm about to install a much smaller unit but I'm not running that much power.

That size should be fine for you, it's not really how much power you havem but what you are using the car for, and where you are driving it.
I believe my HKS oil cooler is 15 layer, 200mm, and it worked more than fine for 30 minute runs at Suzuka Circuit, and also Motorland Suzuka which is a much harder, and slower circuit in terms of airflow.
