Guys i have posted a thread a few days ago about changing my polished covers in my engine bay to painted ones. I have a blue theme just now but would seriously like to add a colour to break that up. I really like the idea of a purple to compliment the blue..Have any you guys saw a paint which would compliment the blue ( not a shocking colour like orange/yellow etc )...I will consider flips etc but cant find any sites showing whats available.

So some links to car colours/paints etc would be apreciated...

that is one hell of a color, looks nice.

What is wrong with your polished covers - getting dull?
I prefer polished over painted, as long as they are maintaned well,
like Bean and Hipgtr's cars. I almost had mine chromed but
had them painted BT2 - Champion Blue to match the car.
A lot of people ask if it is a Tomei engine, as theirs is very
similar.

Polishing

Its not a problem keeping the covers clean as i do metal polishing on a part time basis. I think its just a matter of choice, i see to many polished covers each week in my job and im totally fed up with them to be honest.With paint you can be individual and pick a colour to your own personal taste.Yip the blue im thinking of using will be expensive but it looks lovely ( well in the pic it does )
