I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this question has been asked a million times but I have an R32 GT-R and live in the south west and the nearest place for super unleaded is about 30 miles away. I also motor quite a bit in italy and there's no super unleaded available there. Is there a common ECU upgrade that allows you to run safely on 95 octane fuel?.

millers oils do a octane booster it is £3.80 and a bottle that does
40L petrol and if you use 97 ron fuel it makes it 99 ron, none
of the others manage to take petrol up 2 points.

I'm using the Silkolene stuff at the moment and it makes a huge difference to the performance of my car, shame it costs nearly 8 quid a tin and needs a 1:100 mix to raise RON by 1.

ie. 1 tin to a full tank to go from 97RON to 99RON.

Still its worth it, got to be the cheapest BHP increase available :D

jason it is about time you bought the millers as it is less
than the half price you are paying, but you dont use it all the
time do you. the only time i would use it would be on a
dyno or a track day :smokin:

Fish is for Friday's

Silkolene is for Sundays :D

Keith,
I only use the octane booster when I'm going out to drive deliberately hard, or attending a special day out like RR or track day.

PS. Charlies gonna get you
