If I were to install a PFC on a normal engine(BNR32) would there be a noticeable response in power. Since I heard on normal turbos 1bar is the max before turbine damage. So say, if I got it tuned to 13 or 13.5 would you say thats safe + resonable power response.
Thanks

I had stage 1 mod's with a rom chip, I moved to PFC I didn't reallt see any increase in power, however there was a massive change in the low down tourqe.

Assuming you meant 1 bar then turned it down to 13-13.5 psi?

I would have thought that tuners who map a standard engine for a PFC usually stick at between .8 and .9 bar for longevity of engine and its ancillaries....

This should see (assuming you have the other stage one parts to match) power roughly at around 380 - 400 flywheel bhp.

The addition of the PFC (or any other aftermarket ECU) simply gives the tuner the ability to tune a car much more effectively.
