Swap em for the S01 and you'll be a happy bunny, I've had em on mine for 3500 miles and can't fault them ...

84W is quite a lot rating for speed though .. you need at least a 92V

Are RE-01 a current model??
S01'a are certainly not. I got a set on the cheap, as they were 'old stock', and they were dangerous!!!! They must have been teflon coated! I replaced them with S02's and got through quite a few sets, and found them great!!!

I have now move on to RE050 after haering alot of good things about them.
I haven't covered many miles on them yet, but from I have seen they are very good.

If you like them, cool. Not trying to convert anyone, just saying I have
found tyres go off with age. Maybe this is Nismo LM LTD problem.

As I say, mine were OLD, almost brittle. I think that was the difference.:(

I'm amazed that my sentence made sense, I think by the time I responded to that post i was wasted (bottle of wine and a load of Hoorgarden) and probably couldn't actually see the keyboard.

I'm looking to replace the tyres after my race day so I'll check out the RE's .. I was just going for S01's again.

i know that theyre good tyres
i had them on my evo but not the re-01 R 84W
theyre on the back of my new drag car so
i've only had it a few days so will get to test them out soon

so far i've only driven it once in the wet-no grip as i imagined

the cars running huge power so i new there'd be wheels spin

its jsut that with these wheels even when im reversing or slowly pulling out of the drive they spin

i'll have to use the line-lock to warm them up and try but i cant use that all the time

i'm thinking of changing rear tyres-

thanks for the advice guys

I have to say they are a good looking tyre too, think they have, how would a describe it, umm, tight edges? .. I like a tyre that isn't too rounded from the sidewall .... I'm not making much sense am I .. oh well .. that's me.
