If you guys didnt have P/S would you opt to get it?
My recently purchased car doesnt come with ps, and Ive heard its taken off for racing, but mine simply never came with it. Ive been wrestling with the steering wheel and thus I don't know what to do, its just too much force. Should I opt to get it? What are your experiences for any of you that have a daily driver without it.

PAS stops working above 30MPH on most cars. Its a Lazy mans option like electric windows ETC.

Well, my recent experience of a split power steering hose was like this:

Cut the belt that drives the pump and drove the garage without PAS....

Absolute nightmare! in street driving you have such delayed control over the car it's dangerous at slow speeds!!!

Keep or get PAS it's far safer as you have better response in steering IMO

You need to join the two sides of the rack or you are trying to compress power steering fluid. I would not even try to drive a car without the belt:rolleyes:
