I know we have only just had the Grasshopper meet and what a top day it was!

But do you think we could squeeze a pre Christmas meet in at the same venue or a different one? I think everyone enjoyed the day and the venue was very comfortable.

Just an idea before everyone gets booked up to be dragged Christmas shopping by the other halves (no offence mrs Fuggs)!!

Evening

Maybe we could have an evening doo :) :)

And if we invite other halves, then their wishes can come
true of driving a Skyline when they take us home pissed!! :D :D ;)

Or is there any local pubs with a Travel Inn then
week can all drink and kip the night there. ;) ;)

Or we could just have a couple of shandys and go home at 10.:( :(

The evening sounds like a bit of fun. A few shandys for the Northerners whilst the rest of us drink real beer:)

Any suggestions for a venue? I guess it has to be in/near a hotel/lodge. Guess that'll keep the Dorisses happy:D

"Doris" (n) a descriptive term/name for a female accompaniment. Usually worn on the arm at social gatherings and then put away when not required.:D

Too true - But the true northern term is

"Doris" (n) a Derogatory term for some "skip-rat" thet you met in a drunken haze in a club and then married - (nb) should not be allowed out of kitchen/bedroom as will usually cause social embarressment in front of "the lads"

Agree Scott

Phill,

Nice explanation of a northern Doris. However Southern Dorises are not "Skip-Rats" you've obviously been drinking in the wrong watering holes.

Scott,

lets close this thread before Phill can answer *tee hee*

looks like asnother poll

As people seem to travel from far distances to get to the meet (an excuse to give the car an airing) my preference would still be to go down the Grasshpopper route for the carvery, bonnet up and chat in the carpark. Hence a 11.00-3.00 meet on a Saturday again.

Only my view:)

Its Christmassssss !!!!!!

Ian,

Im for ANY gathering and would love to do this.

Maybe we could have a poll and put it to the people.

Shall we have:

Grasshopper Day Time
Grasshopper Evening
Further up north Day Time
Further up north Evening with accomadation.

Just chucking around ideas to enable all to attend if they wish.

Not sure how to da a poll.

Can any one help??
