I reside in Canada, and as such getting a skyline here is dam near impossable. However My time is nigh! 15 years from production date cars are allowed to be imported and driven as classics on our roads(insert applause). This means I have a little more than a year and a half before I get a R32 GTR. However this leaves questions which I pose to you gents.

1. What major changes are there in the R32 GTR run from 89 -up?
2. What year if any do you recommend for the R32 GTR's?

Currently I own a 1993 FD3S RX-7 with approx. 350bhp and I am looking for a car that will put it to shame, easy choice "SKYLINE!"

p.s. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!!

R32 GTR

I'm not an expert on the R32, since I've only owned R33 and R34, but unless you buy a V-Spec or V-Spec II, (which is unlikely since they are more pricey and hard to find genuine ones) there were no real changes of note to the R32 during it's production life.

As most people will tell you an R32 is mechanically about 90% the same as an R34.

Can't believe they will be a 'classic' soon...............!
