[Austrian GTR]

Hi folks,

Which colors where you using to paint your cam covers???

Just standrad car colors or any spcial heat resistant one???
(Don't know how hot the cover can get and if you have any issues when using a standard one)

I had them sand blasted and then powder coated! Works a treat. I don't think normal paint will be able to handle the heat

Mine were painted with normal 2 pack car paint and are fine. They have been on my GTR over 4 years and only have a couple of tiny chips.

As long as they are prepped properly and you use etching primer you will be fine.

As long as it is prepped and painted properly, Std car paint is no issue.

Good to know that standard 2K paint does the job well. This will give me a way bigger choice of colors
