Hi guys,

Here's something which has been bothering me since picking up of the car, but anyway, maybe someone can tell me how to fix this or if this is fixable in any way. I would like to keep this original window frame, but if it has to go and is not repairable, than it has to go.

Thanks!

Cheers,
RoB

That external trim is held in place with little metal tags which corrode. you'll need a whole rear trim kit. i had exactly the same issue and went aftermarket and think it looks a lot better.

Ok!

What aftermarket kit do You suggest?
The guys in the german forum are mostly using the sealing froma vw T4 bus as it apparently fits perfectly and doesn't let the water between the window and the chassis!

Thanks!

Looks very nice!
So, basically, I'd need to remove the original one and get a universal one fitted? That's all? I hope there is no removal of the window necessary! Will have to look into fast today!

Thanks mook! :)

I had a universal seal put in by a body shop, 6 years on and it is a right state. I am thinking of buying the oe Nissan window strips.
