hey guys any ideas on a good brand of forged pistons and rods for a r32 gtr needs rebuild will be getting acl bearings while im at it as wastgate line came off and was boosting 41.6 psi :eek: and cooked rings did dry/wet compression test's all went up about 40ish with oil cyl 1:27 :runaway: cyl 2:141 cyl 3:78 cyl 4:138 cyl 5:72 cyl 6:129 also opinions on running it in onces it's rebuilt cheers

i was thinking either of these two kits anybody had any bad experiences with cp manley of spool imports cheers would post the link but post count is below 15 so just google spool imports rb26dett rebuild kit and raw brokerage rb26dett kit

JE are known to run huge clearances as they use a different material of alloy which expands more than normal which is why you get piston slap when the engine is cold. Go for CP or Wossner.

CP, Mahle & Wossner pistons.

Rods - Eagle are one of the cheaper sides, people say they are crap etc but they have been used worldwide without any issues!

obviously if you want to pay for the bigger brands such as HKS, Tomei etc etc then go ahead but the Eagle, Manley rods etc are just as good, get them balanced end to end.

some say all the rods are made in one factory in China with different logos.
