my mates just bought one how does he take it off i will fit it for him will the ebay jobbies do or do u need a special chip due to hicas.

The mechanical speedometer converter (to change from KMH to MPH) is best avoided. A simple Stage 1 ECU is the easiest way to remove the limiter - and gain some power in the process.
