Hi, I need opinions on this advert below. I was thinking of rebuilding the engine with forged piston. Reading the advert, what do you think the cost of rebuilt might be with new or used HKS 2530?

It might not require a rebuild, if on boost and he didn't let off on boost when it let go . It might just be a case of replacing the turbos .Flush the exhaust out .
If it did ingest then your looking at prob 3G upwards for the rebuild best off doing rods as well unless they have been done and then the cost of turbos and a remap

If sold at current advertised price I would buy it.

Best case, new turbos?

Worst case, full rebuild about £4,500 inc turbos and map.

Either way, max price of £9,000 for fully working fast and clean R32 is good money.

Buy it and buy the engine thats in the sale section for £1900! It has forged pistons with a recent rebuild. Then fit that and job done!
