Awesome photos mate. Thanks for posting those.

I'm interested in the braces that run over the top of the rockercovers.. seem to support the turbo's from over the top, attached to plenum side??

The legendary Godzilla!! This is the car that started it all.

There is a thread on here with a story on the whole history of the Australian GTRs. Must find, and a must read!

Running some serious camber on those front wheels.

Also check out the fourth picture and see Skaife on the blue-white car window. Mark Skaife was the backup driver back then.. still in his rookie years. Later went on to become a legend in Aussie V8 Touring cars.

Hmmm....in the first pic of the second set of pics(!) theres a bloody great silver disc grafted onto the inlet plenum   . Anyone hazard a guess as to what it's for?? Also, what's being run off the LH cam pulley???

Just curious,

yep boost limiting blow off valve that they had to run, the organisers where trying to give the Aussie V8,s a chance.

The sorted out a fix after they had to fit the blow off valve , they just fitted bigger turbo,s that supplied enough air even if the blow off valve was fully opened.........

I like the fact they ran supports/braces to help take the weight of the turbos even on standard manifolds, when nobody even bothers running one with big ass turbos and stainless manifolds.

And then they wonder why they constantly crack, lol...

Few more pics I got...

Interesting to note that they all seem to be running with 17'' wheels, was this purely because of restrictions or does the R32 handle/drive/faster on these as oposed to 18'' wheels/rubber?
