Hi all, so I am in the process of changing the turbos on my car as previously it had no boost and we found alot of oil in the cooler and pipes.
Any advice as on what new turbos to get, I know alot of people suggest single turbo setup etc but I really want to keep the stock setup but with maybe a better turbo itself.
Also as perviously mentioned in my other post, I have no background on this car and dont even know if the ECU has been chipped or tuned etc to anything from its stock setup, car does have a aftermarket intake setup though.
Thanks

if you are upgrading turbos, you should remap your ecu unless you are just changing it from stock to stock or to steel internals. you should check your ecu. if its not remappable, then you should get at least a piggyback or apexi fc. otherwise there is no point to upgrade. youll kill your engine bud

Believe even the standard Nissan ecu can be re-mapped - see Nistune.

All aftermarket ones are, so look to see if it states Apexi, HKS or similar.

Some are standard ECU's with different ROM - Mines for example.

NIStune - Realtime ECU Tuning

Best move would be to speak to your nearest/chosen tuner for advise.
