I got me a Skyline!!! bought it from Shak, collected it this morning.

95 V-Spec, 47,000.. Silver.

Totally in Love. Although somebody keyed it this afternoon. Big "Z" scratched into the front wing. I stopped outside a shop for about 10 mins. Thought it may happen one day, but I thought I would have got it home first. :O(

Anyway, it can be fixed.

Any tips for a newboy?? ie Tires, Fuel etc?

Cheers

Welcome, but you had it keyed on the first day? Jeez..

Fuel: Optimax
Tyres: Subjective topic! Do you want grip, longevity, cheap??

Believe me, I was totally gutted about the scratch. Its in the paint shop now, gonna cost about £300.

As for tyres... I dont totally cane it, or drive it on a track, so not to sticky, or soft. Would like them to last a while...

I would personally say Falken FK451s. Andy (Middlehurst) recommended them to me as being the "second choice" after Bridgestone S02s. It's an acquired taste I suppose.

I have them, and I drive in the same manner as you (don't cane it, haven't done any track days).

I reckon they'll be good for 10k+

451's

I have these on my GTR and although I have never had the S02 or S03 to compare to I think these are great budget tyres.. I paid
£400 for all four corners
