Hi all,

I am considering selling my dark red 1996 (P) R33 (future project in planning stage)which is Abbey stage 1 tuned, dyno'd the other month at 415 BHP as feature in Japanese Performance under SteveC..

timed by banzai mag (on an uphill run) at 0- 60 in 4.2 seconds 0-100 in 9.7 and a standing 1/4 in 12.7.

The usual power figures for a car in this state of tune is about 360-380 bhp this car made 415 and I wouldn't let the guy take it to max RPM, I made him stop at 8K rather than the limiter of 8250.

Features include

Nismo Clutch,
Abbey stage 1 ECU
Oil cooler with remote filter.
HKS induction kit
HKS rear pipe,
Trust front pipe,
De-Cat
Apexi AVC-R boost controller (fitted after dyno day)
HKS lowering springs (std V-spec ones available with car)
nismo spoiler trims,
Nismo B-post trims
Lumi brite dials (7 shades of green through blue)
safety harness as well as std seat belts.
rear skyline lettering lights up at night.
carbon gear knob etc
GTR mats
Sony Cd player and upgraded speakers.

All original parts that have been swapped are still in my shed so it could be easily returned to STD spec.
The car has only 20k miles Meter reads 29K but the speed jumper convertor was only added a short while ago.
Cat 1 alarm, Tracker.
Lots and lots of TLC, serviced religiously every 3k miles.
I am the second UK owner, the first being the chap who imported her, when I bought the car there were 9000 miles (converted from KM ) on the clock and it was still restricted to 112 mph. better still the chap didn't know it was still restricted..

Looking for about 22k

Picture available via email, or check out www.angelfire.com/falcon/stvec/index.html then follow the links to pictures.. Or check out Japanes performance mag and the banzai 0-60 feature.

Give me a call on 07766 574139
or 01444 231781 (day)

cheers
Steve

Already have a red one, so I'm just trying to leach some goodies :D

But let me know if you'd sell me the -
-nismo spoiler trims,
-Nismo B-post trims
-Lumi brite dials (7 shades of green through blue)
-safety harness.
-rear skyline lettering lights up at night.
-carbon gear knob

Reasonable prices paid ;)

For anyone thinking about buying this car my car has a similar engine spec but only made ~ 390bhp so this is very :smokin:

cheers Jon,

Daz, still undecided, depending on funding, either a fairly mad R32 or a completely insane caterham....

see what happens, I need to do some more research cause I'd like to explore the possibilities of wierd engine transplants into a 7 if you know what I mean...:smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

see how it pans out and lots of people to talk to first though..
not rich enough to do the above and keep the 33...

It will be a sad day when she goes but that is life

Jon,

I don't think Steve will be able to sell you the Nismo trims, as they'll never come off the car. They use some kind of acrylic adhesive which is damn sticky!

Steve - are you going to shoehorn an RB26 into a 7 :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

Bean,

Looking into possibilities, just imagine a 7 with 450 bhp !!
I think if you tuned the engine too far it would be undrivable, but I need to see if there is a kit that an RB will go into.
Still researching.

Steve...problem with RBs it that they are quite tall! A good engine to use in some llightweight chassis applications is the 4G63 from the Lancer EVOs.
BTW have you ever seen these kits??

http://www.sakercars.com

I'm sure an RB can be worked into this...

Worth a shot if you have the means:)

fast sevens

I know a guy with a westfield seven type thing.

Its got a 480bhp cossie lump and they had to cut the rear wheel arches in half and put a 4" segment in between so they could fit wheels and tyres the same size as a diablo (335 or 375 i think)!!! lol

Its significantly faster than his bike.........a track spec r1 !!!

He told me it oversteers a bit tho......:( .......i dont think you should be looking to fit an rb26........i think its the attessa pro that you will need imho.....lmao

Good luck.......James...........
