I thought the std rev limiter was 7500 rpm.

The rev counter does over read slightly, so you may get a few more rpm out of it. Maybe give it a little bit more to see where it stops?;)

Matt,

If I wasn't sure it limited at 7k rpm then I'd take your advice, but I'm sure. Very sure ;)

The thing is, after 6800rpm it's all over so no point hitting the limiter hard anyway.

Hmmm interesting as today it went to 7500rpm and didn`t cut out. I know it has an aftermarket chip in the ECU (As spotted by Rod Bell) but I wouldn`t have though it would alter the rev limit. My car is still pulling well easily up to the Redlineof 7000rpm and apparently standard GTS`t`s don`t do this.:) mine is a bit special!
