Hi all

I had a miss-fire a few weeks ago and decided to take it to Abbey to get it sorted. As usual the guys there did a great job and the miss-fire disappeared.

The problem is that it's now back! All they did was change the plugs. Could it be the plugs are still the problem or could it be something like coil packs etc?

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

Put it this way. What's the worst it could be and how expensive? I'm a little low on funds this month and don't want to take it over to Abbey only to find it's gonna be £500+!

Is it always at a given rpm, or is it random? If the latter, you could have an intermittent fault with the air flow meter.

Does it start after the car's been running for a while?

It does it through the whole rpm range. You can even hear it at idle. It's more noticable over 4000 rpm though.

It appears to be all the time. Definatley when it's warmed up. I'll check tonight to see it does it when it's cold (idle only!)
