hi
seriously considering swapping my fairly well modded evo5 for a skyline
please comment on the following

v-spec,...worth the extra dough ?
what are the first "must have" mods
how easy to get a real 450/500 hp
would anyone deter me from buying one ?

evo is used daily by me or my wife,skyline would have to do the same

SO......

Is a 34 easier to get the BHP up on with smaller mods than the 33?

I have a 97 V spec with HKS IC, GReddy hard pipes, decat'd exhaust system (HKS Dual Dragger exhaust), ARC Titan airbox. Ird spark plugs and Profec A boost controller at 1 bar. But I am being quoted 380/385 BHP (not Dyno'd). And the equivilent on a 34 would be up about 15 BHP extra?

Doh!

So Guy I need the £2k Cam/pulleys mod to get thru 400 and hold 450 BHP ?

Will I still be okay with stock 33 turbos and be able to run at a safe 1 bar?

I have only got intake, exhaust and evc running at 1.0 bar with standard ECU
Mine made 383 at the last dyno day so with intercooler and hard pipes it should be around the 400 mark if its all set up correctly :D
Just my 2p worth

also,why do they run (comparitively) low boost,weak pistons,turbos ?
