So, inspired by the other R34 project I’m involved with, I decided over the summer to take the R34 ( aka the Hipo) back to its original bayside colour, as it was sold in 1999 in Tokyo & picked up by Gio ( previous owner)

Im the second owner in its life & I have no intention of selling having owned it 11 years

I have so far refreshed a number of things but focused upon the Ikeya Formuls suspension links ( full set) & the MFD screen being updated,

I have gathered all new glass, oem trims , badges, clips etc for the glass out respray scheduled for middle of 2022.

items on the list on other developments are, (& these are more stylistic )

colour changle back to BB from TS 911 colour
swapping the Trust Ti muffler
removal of the TS diffuser & side generators
removal of TS front diffuser
removal of Doluck side skirts
replace Nismo carbon blade
new modern fuel system to replace the one fitted by TS
few new interior items I wish to have new like the e-brake ( same style)
update the brakes F&R
removal of the Nitron 3 way coilovers
new headlights

Diffuser ( front & rear) has already been off the car for months as it’s easier to get on & off the ramp

im removing the Nismo indicators, top secret led reverse lights etc

may change the te37s , not sure on that tho.

I've always been a huge fan of this, (your), car since I used it as an image for one of the GTROC metal membership cards back in the day.

Thanks Scott - no I’m not going oem but changing a few things to quiet down the noise

Have to update the fuel system as it had a fuel line go. So replacing everything

Colour is OEM blue

You are going to keep a little TS 'look' on the outside are you?
How about the Z Tune front wings?

Just trying to buy new old stock of the oem side steps etc

Front lip il prob change (diffuser ) it’s already off the carpet at mo

Not a fan of getting rid of the TS items to be honest.
But it's you that it has to like it and that's what matters.

I do like that front splitter.
Even wanted to fit one to my GTT with a non-genuine GTR front end.
Sadly didn't fit :-(

And on a car that even has a little touch up TS paint left, I would probably leave it like that.

Rear diffuser I'm not sure how the TS one looks.
