Hi guys, its my first time posting here. I am currently planning to import a R34 GTR but i was wondering if they are in fact genuine vspec as the importer told me they'd be. Wouldn't want to waste my time and money in getting a fake vspec.

Anyway, here are the Vin numbers. Hope someone could provide me with the details using the fast program. It would really be appreciated. :p And does anybody here have the updated fast program which also includes all cars from '89 til '09? Thanks :p

BNR34 1999 (white) - V-spec VIN NO. BNR34-000598
BNR34 2000 (white) - V-spec VIN NO. BNR34-010298
BNR34 2001 (silver) - V-spec 2 nismo s1 VIN NO. BNR34-013678

V-spec II is better.......but a good V-spec I is better then a bad V-spec II.....it all is depending on luck(or a good importer),money and time....

Alex

PS: If you don´t trust your imported now, don´t buy a car off him, simple as that....ask matty or anyone else who is on here and imports cars to do that job for you, saves you maybe thousends....

Thanks.. id rather spend more than pay less and also get less.. haha.. hmm.. Vspec II it is now.. I found a better importer in Japan that has been importing for quite some time..

Matty, my importer sent me this message and I just want to know if this is really what happens in the auctions in Japan?
"The auction sheet is possible. The video is depending on the situation. If the auction is far far away from me, I could only bid through my computer and could only rely on the auctions grading report. I could take the video of it after winning the auction actually.

FYI sir, you get to see the actual car only on the very day of the auction. You are not allowed to drive it but only check it out, pop up the hood and start the engine. "

Also, hope you guys could help tell me what I should be cautious of when importing this kind of car from Japan. Since its my first time, I want to make sure I wont be fooled in the process so any advice would be really helpful.

Thanks guys

If you use an agent in Japan and the car's not good, you'll only have yourself to blame. Use someone like Newera to buy your car and you'll be guaranteed a quality result (Do a search - they have many happy owners here and over 10 years experience selecting quality GT-R's), or try selecting via a couple of internet pictures and limited GT-R knowledge from an agent in Japan, import yourself if you want to gamble..:bawling:

hi sorry ive replied ive been working away this week

if you use an agent, you dont have any idea ie, you see 2 pics of the car on a pre-day auction photo

front & rear, and yes all you can do (if your there) is to start it up, look around it then make a decision

however, an agent just wantsa sale / comission on the car so its not really in their interest (on the whole)

may aftermarket extras are not listed on the auction sheets, milage can be hidden at times too, (not all japanese are that honest)

you cant tell from 2 auction pictures on pin dents, clutch life, accident damaged (hidden repairs) general appearance.

which is why we do well.

Miguel has a wealth of experience and has owned & driven every sports car japan has too offer, specialising in RX7, & GTR (32 mostly)

i remember when buying mine (on each occassion) how bloody fussy he was lol

still when i bought the 34 another one we wanted, turned out to be a dog, despite a grade 4 listing.

pin dents and snow damage wasnt shown on the sheet.

however on paper it looked fine, close up , another story

it could have cost me, however having miguel there is a huge bonus.

if you want car from us, we dont pick up any old toot (just check the website, and the trade sale section in here for recent examples)

drop me a pm and we can go from there
