R34 GTR V-SEC

Don’t believe I have to do this so be kind and no stupid offers.

A little about my history with skylines
After building and owning
R32 GTR 650bhp
R324 GTR 650bhp
R32GTR 700bhp
R35GTR 650bhp
I have finally got myself an R34 GTR Victory spec
The car I brought here from GTROC member.
It was a Japan import, Magazine featured show car for CRD
http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/152182-r34-gtr-v-spec-mag-featured-show-car.html
This was the base of my ultimate build.

The build was finished September 2013 and has completed about 1000 miles on a low boost setting 1.3bar to run the car in. Now tuned with 1.5bar
I can honestly say that the only upgrade left on this car is a fuel swirl pot. And I have already brought a very trick twin bosch setup that will be sold with the car.
Reason for selling is that I no longer live in the UK.

Engine specification built by RB Motorsport.
With all new parts, only the actual head was reused and that was completely reworked.

What does RB estimate the power to be at the boost its running?
turbo is good for 750bhp engine alot more, on its present map Id guess 650-680

Very nice. So I guess on the new fuel system you will get close to the 750hp.

What was the engine built to handle?

Engine was built for strength and reliability one of the main reasons for the dry sump option, to eliminate the reliability issues due to sump and the pump design.
On previous R32's I have built I always went for trust deep sump and Tomei oil pump. But hitting the sump on speed bumps drive on ferry's, was an issue that is always on your mind.

Inlet I went for the Nismo plenum to improve fuelling of cylinder 6 and better flow from standard. Apexi GT spec intercooler keeps temps down.

Exhaust systems built for response, the 6Boost manifold can not be appreciated once fitted. As a lot of engineering goes into the collector, where the 6 cylinder join. Where other manufactures just cut and weld the pipe work together. New Garret GTX twin scroll promised good response and being a Garret reliability is good, with healthy hp for a track, Fast road car.

If you are asking what hp the block is good for, you would have to look at Tomei forged rods

Hope that helps

Reasons for engine components, this is tomei's incite to the 2.8
http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/inf/pdf/41_ae_Letter.pdf
I collected the parts individually
New N1 Block just a better stronger block, R34 blocks go porous, due to thin cast and running high pressure radiator caps.
Greddy pistons for the extra cooling of the crown
Tomei rods proven reliability
Fardons crank made in UK, make cranks for many big name company's and race proven.
Nismo bearings for longevity of the crank (softer than acl meaning when it does come to a rebuild you change bearings not the crank)
Tomei 1.2 muliti layer steel head gasket giving 2770cc and 8.6 compression

RB motorsport to put it all together.

I'm sure everyone spec's to what they know are reliable components and that is what I've done.

Afraid not Ill be polishing it when I get back. Ive not driven the car for 8 months, If I go driving it, it will only make it harder for me to sell.

haha so true mate, it was the exactly the same with mine, wanted to sell it but kept having second thoughts every single time I saw it.

amazing car, worth the money, market is slow but the right buyer who appreciates what it is will always come along sooner or later.

best of luck with the sale mate,
