Yeah i can see that they can work on power fc after alot of reading but i need a voltage curve, seems if you don't have a voltage curve it can take alot longer to set up from scratch

Was looking at getting this kit

R35 GTR Air Flow Meter Upgrade For RB26DETT GTR - Air Flow Meters - Engine Bay Electrics - Electrical | JDM Garage UK - Nissan Specialists

Any help would be appreciated as I can't find much info on this at all!!
Is that just an adapter kit as in the text it states " MAF adapter can be used with R35 GTR MAF sensor OEM Part Number 22680-7S000 " ?

If so surely this works out very expensive and you may as well go for the Nismo Mafs.

I think it doesn't include the R35 AFMs as the HPI kit, as a pair from RHD, adds up to £240 before delivery and that's housings and wiring harness only.

Even if it works out a similar price it would probably be better to go for the newer tech r35 mafs, it's just getting them set up right! Got a'pexi to send me voltage curve figures in the end but doesn't make any sense to me haha

Same here

So nismo afms are about 70,000 yen

The sensors , and housings for r35 are 100,000 yen

I'm going r35 route as newer tech

The link i put at the top of this post for a pair of housings, sensors and wiring works out at £300 which is nearly £200 cheaper than a new pair of nismo afms but difference is everyone knows about the nismo stuff.. seems atleast in the uk that r35 afms are still a grey area and not many people have tuned with them

id be amazed if that price in the link included 2 genuine nissan sensors

the housing look like the apexi ones (which are about £70 each in japan)

it doesn't say that the pack includes the sensor

it says they can be used with sensor xxxx.....

I think you are right actually, should of read that a bit more carefully haha

Might be worth having a look at the apexi items then as i think their adapter kit is actually bigger than stock style fitment housings like that link

Where can you get them for £70? Can't find any for that price

The HPX R35 sensors look good as they can be used with any size pipe from 2" to 5".

That link Cir2kuk put up shows the Aussies found them great but it needs to be tuned correctly. Would be good to have a look at the info you got from apexi - could you send me it?

I'm hoping to get mine remapped with FC Tuning and was going to ask them beforehand on how they feel about setting up R35 MAFs.

One of the guys I discussed this with on one of the Nismo FB pages mentioned he bought tuning data from a seller on Yahoo auctions to help with setting up his R35 sensors and he bought the same kit you put the link up of.

Chuck me your email and will send it over, hopefully you can make some sense of it ***55357;***56834;

Like you said it all depend on the tuner, the person tuning mine has only had experience with the nismo ones so is unsure without actually tuning it how it will turn out so he said could be a waste of money if it doesn't work properly

I'll have a look and maybe send it over to FC and see what they say.

I'm trying to sign up to SAU but not having any luck for some reason. Maybe we can ask those guys for some help and maybe some tuning info.
