You pack the cv joint as much as possible, I’d imagine any excess will just come back into the boot itself When used.

Glad i noticed it.Not due for a service or mot for ages.How would know you have a duff c/v boot....wait for a big bang....

Could be worth checking the tyres for additional inside edge wear.

Swopped out the drivers side yesterday, went for a good blast covering 75 miles on all types of road and surfaces, didnt notice any handling issues at all...now running 2017 fronts and 2011 rears..

I wouldn't expect any major issues on the road unless you were pushing it to the limit. I think if there was going to be a problem it would be more noticeable on the track.

I used the complete 2017 legs,also i dont track it.
Seems to be perfect,only 400 more jobs to do..
