There's been quite a bit of discussion about this in another thread if you want a full update. The short and long of it is that the GTR's new engine will probably be the same V6 unit thats found in the new 350Z.
Apprently the organizers of the motorshow have decided to show respect after the US attacks by cancelling the parties that are usually held for the press. Music at stands will be kept at a lower volume than usual and the worst news of all is that the show girls will have to tone down their costumes!!
Yeah what the hell is that game, Dino?! How can Polyphony get such information so far in advance?!
Personally I think that if that is the real look of the R35, I am definitely going to invest in an R34! Why couldn't they have followed Tommy Kaira's lead and produced something like the ZZ II?
PD have teamed up with the Japanese manufacturers to come up with a demo of the game which features only concepts. It will be on display at the show and you can have a go on those really cool seat/steering wheel setups! I'll try and nick a copy!
As for the GTR concept...obviously it will be toned down quite a bit for production, especially the front, but if you look at the lines you will see details of all the past GTRs.
Nissan can't make a mid engined 2 seater GTR ...that would be dropping its 30 odd year history of the car!
As for the ZZII...has it been made?? I haven't heard/seen anything for ages!! Will it be at the show??
From the front it looks like one of GMs USA concept cars - uauslly given names like "Prowler", "Growler" or "Snarler". From the side it looks like a slightly modified Ford and the back looks like a Fiat Copue.
If that's the best Nissan can come up with, I think I'll buy a Scooby
Well I like the new car , though it does look a little cramped inside. One thing I like about the GTR is the space inside, it looks like it's gone the way of so many Japanese cars, designed for short ar$e$
