Although many prefer the quiet and subtle stock BOV (Blow off valve) set-up, there are people who like a little more presence when in their R35's. HKS produce a full kit for the R35 but at over £1250 it is a little 'pricey'. This is a shame with the great technology used in their SSQVs and also the classic JDM style and note they produce.

The HKS Super SQV (Sequential Blow Off Value) uses a unique sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system, which allows for a broad operating range from low boost to high boost. Its Pull-Type relief design ensures stable operation regardless of the amount of boost pressure. Staying firmly shut at part throttle yet opening when needed to release excess pressure in the system.

No code issues have been found under testing in full vent to atmosphere mode but recirculating adaptors can be supplied if requested, quieting them down a little but retaining full HKS SSQV control under high boost applications where the factory ones struggle.

For the customer wanting a premium level HKS product, we have carefully produced the custom CNC adaptors for perfect fitment of the HKS SSQV kits to the R35 GTR. Supplied in the kit are 2x official HKS SSQVs (be wary of cheap Chinese copies, these are direct from HKS Europe), 2x ACspeedtech CNC SSQV adaptors, 2x CNC pipe blanks (silicone pipe caps can be supplied instead for a neater look, yet needs a little more digging into the engine bay to fit) and 2x SSQV fitting kits (pre-assembly FOC on request!)
The price for the premium ACspeedtech/HKS SSQV kit is £480+vat. If anyone has any queries please don't hesitate to ask.

Apologies guys, I didn't have a cam to hand during mapping/testing, will get the GoPro on the job with the next kit!
On a personal note, after over 15 years of listening to (putting up with) some ridiculous BOV's fitted to some turbo cars that both sound like you've emptied an air balloon when lifting from only 0.1 bar boost then make most passers by think your tyre has exploded... These do work very well, not intrusive and I would happily fit to a car of my own. The note can also changed with different available nozzles or recirculated so caters for all setups.
