What seems to be the going rate for a used RB26 head (most likely an R32) these days? I'm shopping for one - would you pay £500 for a standard head, no cams, with Apexi valve springs?

I'm also thinking about head work - not interested in going big lift or anything (going to use Tomei Poncams) but am concerned about hot spots that might cause preignition. Is polishing the combustion chamber dome pretty easy, or extreme precision work? What about cleaning up the valves? I'm not going to change valves but I would like to freshen them up to as new condition if it's not too difficult (read - requiring precision machining by some expert with 40 years experience).
