Just wondered if anyone could tell me the complete weight of the engine and gearbox including turbos and anciliaries for a GTR (without turbos etc. would be interesting too). I am sure I read it somewhere but I cant find it now.

FDUK that if anything it would be a 13B in a GTR!

Just curious, I was lifting a RB gearbox today and I remember them being some ridiculous weight, so just curiosity.

I would hazard a guess at between 250 and 300kg. 'Bare' engine is around 180kg from memory...

Thats not as bad as I thought. I was expecting well over 500+ kgs including drivetrain.
