I have been searching the net, and there seems to be builds form many reputable tuners, where some use 2 iddlers for rb30 dohc cam conversion and others one idler and one tensioner.
Bottom one is always where stock iddler is and top one is ontop of the water pump.

my block has the top one drilled and threaded already. so my question is, what sould i use?
2 idllers or as stock, as i heard that like stock the tension is over nissans recomendations.

You can't use 2 idlers or you will have no way to adjust the belt.

I never use the spring loaded tensioner, I just set them by feel.

I put an idler in the stock location and the tensioner above the water pump.
