Hi all,

Some of you will have already seen my RB26 powered 34 drift car

Posing at Pod

RB26 - so pretty

Twin drifting with my best mate at DWYB

RB26, 2540s, PFC mapped for 540hp @ 1.6 bar but only ever ran at 1.2 as standard MAFs were maxing out

Awesome fun on the road but the lag of 2540s made it hard work to drift as power band is so narrow :nervous:

Rob was keen to try an RB31 in a rwd skyline and i was desperate to get much more torque so a plan was hatched

Should be ready mid may through nov

Rough spec of the top of my head

Forged TR Racing RB31
2860s-10s
HKS Fcon v-pro
Tomei Oil pump
Tomei poncams
Tomei cam pullies
Greddy Timing belt
HKS Fuel rail
700cc Injectors
Aeromotive FPR
Walboro lift pump for Swirl pot
Bosch 044
HKS hard pipe kit
Trust FMIC
Greddy profec B
Accusump
Exedy twin clutch
RB25 g/box
Nismo 2way LSD
GTR rear drive shafts

+
Lots of suspension and chassis mods to help it grip or drift depending on what mood i'm in :runaway:

Base block Nissan RB30 or OSG? :) Looking forward to see the finished engine! Keen to see what -10's will do on a 3 Liter.

Marc
OSG well out of my budget - i need all my cash for tyres LOL

Base block RB30 with 26 head :D

Im confused by reading the specs.RB26 is mentioned, then RB31 is mentioned

Is this car an RB26 an RB30 or an RB31???
Currently has a 26 - swapping for a 31

Sorry, I just thought there was something a bit different about these TR RB31s.
Cant comment on other peoples builds mine is fairly simple

87mm pistons TR spec
Con rods TR spec
Headgasket TR spec
Stock crank
Spool crank collar
26 head with bronze valve guides and poncams
Jun Oil pump
N1 Waterpump
ARP headbolts

Im sure Tweenie can fill you in on anything ive missed :)

Have you run a -10 setup on any of your drift RB30s or do the NZ guys perfer big singles for the awesome fast tracks you guys have ?
