new decluttered for sale thread for my rb26 motor

motor was rebuilt by broadspeed services and I have receipts for work done.

spec of motor
87mm je forged pistons with oversized gudgeon pins approx 2650cc due to 87mm rebore
new little end bearings resized for oversize gudgeon pin
acl race big end and main bearings
all new gaskets and seals throughout
new water pump
oil pump stripped, inspected and rebuilt
new cambelt
cylinder block bored and decked
crankshaft checked for straightness and journals polished

motor was ran in for 1k miles at 0.5 bar. then ran 1.2 bar for 1.4k miles and that is it. excellent oil pressure as pictured below

i took some pics to show the engines excellent oil pressure.
oil temperature at time of taking pics of oil pressure

idle pressure

4500 rpm oil pressure

and with a pair of -7 turbos at just 1.2 bar of boost on mgts dynapack it made 415 hub hp, 387 hub lbft

i have the invoice from broadspeed services for the engine rebuild, co and hc were well within spec at last mot, she used no oil and ran perfect no exhaust smoke, its a win win as its been run in properly and dyno tuned and its perfect any issues would of shown themselves by now.

with some -5s the motor should comfortably run 550 to 600 hp as the pistons are now forged it can run more boost than a stock motor without fear of piston failure.

i will sell the motor as it sits for £2500

or bare tall motor with no ancilarries, inlet or cam/coil covers for £2000

it has blown me away steve, I have no need or use for an rb26 they aren't even close to the same league as a vr38, mine is makeing 850 hp with minimul mods really

I have a 5.3 litre 1972 Chrysler v8 im rebuilding and a 1987 supercharged 2.8 capri zakspeed capri build to keep me busy, I have all my skyline needs all rolled into one perfect package in my r35 :)
I honestly don't miss my r32, r33 and c210 one bit lol

I was considering shelfing it but in all honesty there is no way I will ever go back, if I had an r32/r33/r34 again I would want an r35 engine and trans in it.

it is a bargain im amazed it hasn't sold, maybe its to cheap and folks think its to good to be true ?
