Ok so I have my new wheels, 19x10.5j et22.
Tyre size will be 275/35/19

Car shall be used as fast road and occasional spiritual weekend drives.

Once finished and mapped, I'm hoping for 700-750bhp, however I can't see me ever using it beyond a 500bhp map setting.

What tyre make should I go for?
The only thing I would want apart from the obvious, is reduced road noise.

I'm using Falken AZENIS FK453's on both my skylines and went round Nurburgring with the exact same size tyres on my 550bhp gtst with really good grip

What they like for road noise?
Are they a run flat (not wanting run flats ) I find them to be too harsh.

Tyre leader seem unbearable at the minute.

Kumho tyres I mentioned are down 63%, but seem to be more suited for the wet.

I've heard the name but not read anything about them.

Are they meant to be a good brand of tyre?

"however I can't see me ever using it beyond a 500bhp map setting" :chuckle::chuckle::chuckle::chuckle::chuckle:

I'm using Falken 453's with over 700bhp; excellent tyres, very low road noise and superb grip in wet and dry.

I have Michelin Pilot sports on mine and they are the best tyre I have ever had, not much road noise but my exhaust is quite noisy lol. I know they are dear tyres but you pay for quality:thumbsup:

So that's two positives for the falkens. Just wonder if they have a tough wall which generally causes a horrible feeling over bumps and cornering, even at low speed.
I had that issue with Bridgestone a05's.

Agreed Michellin pilot sports are a brilliant tyre but very expensive.

I'm really warming towards the kuhmos I mentioned.

Was £307 each, currently bring cleared/reduced at £136.

Only ever going to be a weekend toy/road car.

Semi slick is going to be an over kill.

Falkens are good tyres have the 453 on my BMW with 19's cannot fault them. Good in the wet and good in the dry.

That's 3 positives on falkens and as such I've been offered an almost new set of 453's but they are size 275/30/19.
