Oops - posted that in a hurry, and didn't make myself clear. Was supposed to be a pic of the car itself too - hmm...
It's not my car - it's an s13 200SX that belongs to Barry Caleini off from the 200SX Owners Club (http://www.sxoc.com).
He recently got his car back from SE, and decided to try it out at pod. With the tuned 1.8 he has under the bonnect he managed a personal best of 13.2 - and we all know he can get into the 12's with a better start! Fear the 2hundy!
The top pic is him beating a 300ZX turbo! (after the 300 boys said they were going to cane us too ), and the bottom his amazing 13.2 run! We'll be running again on the 26th of May, you guys can come along, if you think you can cope with having something that's 800cc, 2 cylinders and one turbo down on you guys keeping up - or beating you
rear (2) wheel drive, lots of spin.
skyline 4 wheel launch, tonnes of grip. Launch until your hearts content. See ya.
What you have to remember Barry is TERMINAL SPEED as that is what all the 1/4 specialists go for.
And believe me the GTR will go more than 107 at that place. I saw Mike smith post an 11.7 1/4 with terminal of 120+
And then if on a longer road the skyline would just pull awat as the four pot starts to run out of breathing and gearing.
2 diff cars built for 2 doff purposes. Why bother??
Mind you norris has got a great 200 as Ronnie and glen can attest. I think he is running 450 ponies at 2 Bar!!
Yeah, I know - just having a bit of fun with you guys. I know full well that it required loads of work to even get a 200 to where a Skyline starts! I was at the top-speed challenge, and there were some mildly rapid Skylines there - to say the least!
I didn't mean to come across as offensive - it's just not often we get to poke our tounges out at the big boys
I've been told the car dyno's at 357bhp - can't remember the rpm's though. I was also told the boost, but I can't remember that either - I do know it's was surprisingly low for the power.
Yep, that's the guy. I'm going to HWH tomorrow. I'll be in the red sofa with the tow-bar.
