I have to say I was amazed at how rigid the bridgestone tyres are.

I was at my local dealer yesterday and inspected one off the rim. It seems as if the tyres are made of mahogany!.

I suggest that the harsh ride is down to the tyres more than the suspension.

I would be happy to run 30% softer tyres and forget the nurbergring lap times.

I've always been of the mind that it's a sports car, so the ride has never, ever bothered me.

If I wanted a soft ride, I'd have bought a Jag.
