Just got back from a track day with the GTR, Last ten laps at some stage the radiator fan shroud got caught in the fan, jamming it, and spiking the temps sky high.
Knock levels never got over 28 on the P-FC....But the catch can did fill and blow a bit of oil out....Fingers crossed I haven't hurt the engine!:bawling:

Stock cap is what.... 1.0 Bar?

What is considered the ABSOLUTE highest you want to see in regards to water temp?

Feel free to correct me, but isn't boiling point at 100 at standard atmospheric pressure (~1 bar) and the cooling system is pressurized above this (further ~1.2bar) so its at the absolute pressure of ~2.2bar which is 123 degrees boiling point (close to Moff's answer)

Coolant should have a higher boiling point again

I have a big radiator with a N1 Pump and N1 themo, and a HKS cap which I can't remember what it's rated at.
