Heard they are crap, buy from Japan although I have also looked at these items on ebay. Believe there are previous posts on such

It'll just be a capacitor in there, (and not a very big one if it only costs £26).

Not a great benefit to most cars I wouldn't have thought. I used to run a 1 farad cap when I had a silly big stereo install in my previous car to help stiffen the supply and deal with sudden large current demands from the amps, (capacitors can release charge much quicker than batteries). Caps can help if you suddenly need to supply a 'lump' of current, but generally this isn't a problem.

I used to use them to bolster the voltage on big bass hits, now I just have a tiny one on the stereo to get rid of a bit of noise. the speakers and stuff where like 65kg, so I didnt put them in the skyline, Might put them in my beetle tho.
