What a great turn out with some new faces to put to forum names. weather was a bit brisk with a drying track when the sighting laps started and fully dry until a small hail shower around midday.
Thanks to everyone that came and I trust you all had a great day.
My car was fling in the morning with some fantastic laps and with the new brakes, the car was absolutely amazing.
The afternoon gave me a rest from driving and I enjoyed the socialising and being a passenger with some of you guys.
Pity about the poor old Ferrari 360 but I always said they were a disposable item!
No doubt others will want to add a few comments and I look forward to seeing most of you on May 26th for a warmer Silverstone Grand Prix circuit day with hopefully everyone finishing the day and driving home.
Steve, I warned you about those Bridgestone's and Ant and I had to something to prove that they are not infallible - hope you enjoy the Toyo's:D

Have you started a thread about May 26th yet John?

I'm in for that but would like to get time with Jake (if he is available) as I tend to be fourth or fifth in and miss out as he's then only available later on.

Me too … keen on the next one and would definitely need some time with Jake early on.

What brakes are you running John?

Great day, great company = memorable occasion. Was good to meet so many new members, but special thanks to John, who put the event together, Dean and Jake. Tried the Toyos for several laps and found them super grippy - I now know what I shall get for my next set!
Arrived home knackered but well pleased I attended this event. Thanks again you guys:bowdown1::bowdown1:

Great day, sorry I wasn't as sociable as I should have been. I have a rotten cold and barely have a voice.

Photography company was Welcome to Race-Keeper Events nothing up there yet.

I came away early due do my brakes going (bad vibrations). They were fine before we broke for lunch but the next time we went out on track they did their usual 'need a few heavy brakes to clean' vibrating but training the brake a little on turn in made the wheel shake violently.
Probably as John says got too much pick up due to shoddy pads/disc combo but its going into the dealer who supplied the car for an MOT next Monday and they have that EBC ProSkim equipment so will try that first to save the discs and put some new pads in there.
Big thanks to John for all his organisation of the event.

Well spotted :)
There's a couple I'd have of mine but not at £20 a pop.

Been out and jet washed the discs and took the car out again. Seems to have improved but I'll still get them checked out next week at the garage. Found it hard to replicate the same braking situation on the road as I had it occurring on the track.
Lifted the bonnet to check the oil and both the edges at the rear hinge point caught on the wings FFS!

Bought all of mine for 20 quid, the colour looks a bit off though.
