Experts...I need help, if you had a pretty much standard car (intake-exh)and didnt plan on making too much HP down the road would you buy a big single plate clutch or a dual?

I'm no egg spert, but in my personal experiance, the Exedy single plate paddle clutch is perfect for upto around 450 hp.

I ran one and I give it 10/10.

Twins can be real grabby and noisy and its not needed for your power.

I am in the same position. The Twin is going to cost alot more than a single. The singles are supposively rated for 400bhp before they wear out very fast or start slipping. (This is hear say, this is what I have been told, this information could be wrong.)

go for a twin plate - there's not that much of a delta in cost if you shop around

and if you get the right manufacturer there will be no snapping on/off nor too much noise when idling
