well what can i say apart from ROD BELL is very good at what he does

new power figures running at 1.5 bar boost
576.5 BHP AND 459 LBS TORQUE

all done with step 1 cams,2530s and 550cc inj

and a dyno that had its new calibration done on the 13 aug 2002

jim ran a new evo7 and it put out the stock bhp figures back to back twice before he done work on it.
and also to prove that his dyno is reading right.

before anyone starts :D :D :D

photos and dyno sheets to be posted soon

Well Done Keith,

Excellant result mate :D

OK, So Keith had 300bhp more than me, but I'm sure he'll agree it's all in the delivery ;)

I'm chuffed to bits with 262lbft @ 3250rpm :D

Excellent result Keith :smokin:

I'll have to see if Rod can get anything like that out of mine.

top work keith

a great curve, wickedly smooth and the delivery is superb.
The boost is solid at peak as well right across the range. No real spikes as well though some bit worrying ones on the others thought.

GREAT RESULT to all.

keith - I'm new to the Skyline scene (don't have one yet) so please bear with me. These graphs are very interesting.

I noticed that your own car seems to need more revs before it reaches full boost. Are you running larger turbos than the others?

I also noticed that your 'torque per bar of boost' is quite high - is this also down to the larger turbos or is this partly due to other engine work too (larger intercooler/cams/flowed heads)?

power and torque

HI KINGSLEY

YES MY TURBOS ARE BIGGER THAN THE OTHER CARS THAT RAN
THEY ARE ONE OFFs THEY ARE IN BETWEEN A 2530 AND A 2535
SO I THINK YOU COULD SAY I HAVE 2532 1/2s:smokin:

AS FOR THE 459 LBS TORQUE AT 5700 REVS I HAVE NO IDEA AT ALL
THIS IS WHERE I JUST LET ROD GET ON WITH IT.
ALL IT CAN BE IS CAM TIMING AND MAPPING THE POWER FC RIGHT
UP TO NOW I THINK HE IS DOING A VERY GOOD JOB.

I THINK I HAD A SMILE AS BIG AS THIS GUY:D :D :D :D :D

THANKS KEITH
