Neil,
Excuse my ignorance, but if you explain what you actually mean by offset(I am really thick!) then i am sure I can help. My GTS has 4 studs. Just explain what you mean. Is it the measurement between studs?.

No your right offset or ET as its seen on the alloy wheel just means how it sits in or out on the car. ET45 like on vauxhall means its sits in a fair bit then ET22 like on a pug means its sits further away.

Then u can go into PCD bore which in basic terms is the size of the wheel face that will sit on the cars hub. Could go on but that explains the 1st paragraph.:cool:

As clear as mud!!. I think it's best that you go to a Wheel Dealer and ask what the offset is, I can't beleive that this can cause so much problems. I just went to a wheel dealer and said what can you do me for a Skyline GTS, And they told me what they had.

The following apply to the 5 stud GTS and I'm not sure if they are of any use to you,

Wheel ET Tyre
8.0x17 31 235/45-17
9.0x17 38 255/40-17
8.5x18 37 245/40-18
9.5x18 42 275/35-18

Might be an idea to try the SDU forums as they have loads of non GTR Skylines.

this should be right

These are R31 Skyline 4 stud measurements

Offset = 25
PCD = 114.3 x 4 stud
Hub = 66

Not quite sure why an R33 would have 4 stud pattern? Who knows. Guess yours is a non-turbo? Either way that's pretty much standard Nissan. 200SX, Silvia etc. are all like that. Of course you'll have to check the offset but I'm 99% sure that it'll be 114.3 PCD and 100% sure that the hub is 66! All Skylines are!

James

p.s. You can probably work out the offset from looking it up on Google! You might find that it's 31 and not 25!

My bad!

The offsets I quoted are for.......

25 for a 7" wide wheel
31 for a 8" wide wheel
38 for a 9" wide wheel

Try calling Abbey to see if I'm right. If I am you owe me a beer ;)

Bugger me.....another post

But if you've got £300 you can have my Racing Sparco's that need restoring. £25 per wheel. So for £400 total you can have 4 very nice wheels for your GTS. There 8x17 and 9x17.

Here's the condition they're in!

When they're clean they're gorgeous!
