Brought a set of spark plugs the other day, NGK Greedy 8's (no: T7341-8), previously fitted were NGK (not Greedy stamped) No: R7434-8. Question is are these basically the same plug? both were supplied by well known but separate tuners.
The other shocking thing was the price approx £120 for the 6, just tried Spark plugs.co.uk and they quoted £160:eek:
There must be a cheaper source for the above anyone got any leads to where that might be or do i put this one down as another joy of Skyline ownership.:(

Those are the super-duper racing plugs, as recommended by our own tyre-encased Mines-sceptic UKDM Ford whore SteveN :D

And yes they're about £20 each :(

Personally I use NGK BKR7EIX, £50 a set :D

You don't really need an NGK Racing plug unless you have a high powered car.

The "standard" NGK Iridiums are fine in most cases.

Your at the thresh hold. If you use the performance regular then Mick is right, if most of the time you are commuting, save a set of the good plugs for when you plan on using the car in anger!

You almost certainly should be using 8's, 7's are on the hot side.

I have the 7434-8's for normal and -9's for those more enthusiastic times.....

600 ponies , BKR8EiX's (from £50 local Bennets) , been in ages , lasted much longer (in my car) than any of the mega buck plugs ive used in the past .

Probably change to BKR9EiX's when its remapped for more boost soon :)

other people's experience's may differ :)
