Says cat B

Only good for breaking in the UK, not sure how much money can be recouped by breaking it for spares considering the fact most of the bolt on parts are damaged.

Don't worry it'll go to a good home, probably a well known R35 specialist builder will buy it, turn it into a motorbike and register it as a Prius with the registration from a Mini Cooper and then turn nasty on anyone that suggests maybe it needs an IVA.

No, that couldn't possibly happen... :D

It comes with the v5, so even though car b could be rebuilt and used on the road again.
No, cat b can't be put back on the road. Only c and d can. In fact I thought only registered garages could even buy a b.

Cat B can be put back on the road same steps as a cat C for a vic check. Vosa have no issue with this, you may just find it difficult to insure.

breakers license is needed to buy Cat B

I thought they couldn't be repaired, but it can see now they can, but I think you would find it very hard to insure a cat b in future, insurance do not like them!

Yeah I agree, but on further reading apparently it is possible to put a B back on the road with a VIC check.

Personally, I wouldn't buy one.

You are quite right, but the problem is some dodgy breakers and the DVLA re issuing V5's for cat B's

When a breaker buys a cat b car they are buying it based on the agreement it must be stripped for parts (this is why the public can't but them), but many are then applying for the V5 and if the DVL re-issue it (which they shouldn't) the cars can then be put back on the road.

How come this one even comes with the V5?
