Same kind of sound when you have a loose belt, only on cold start-ups, disappears a few mins later when warmed up a little.

I have a service due soon, so will get it looked at.

Should it be something I should be seriously worried about ?

Is it you squeaking or the GT-R????
Sometimes I do wonder, I am known to make strange noises.

Before anyone asks I have rang the NHPC, and all they can say is without the car being present in person they cannot judge the situation. So needs to be booked in and looked at, but hoping if any users had similar experience as to what I can expect.

I suspect that after a few minutes the vibrations from the engine send your pet rat to sleep. ;)

In all seriousness, don't worry.
If it's going in soon for a service mention it to them and make sure they tell the GT-R person working on the car.
Then you can moan when it comes back the same.

Just some normal belt chirp prbably. Next time you start from cold, open bonnet, flick a tiny bit of water on the belt, it'll prob change sound or shut up.
