IIRC the R32 has a viscous LSD in the rear. What "percent" is it rated at; I seem to recall that in that era, limited slip diffs were given a percent rating - Porsche had 50% LSDs, for example.

And then what the hell does that percent mean, and how does that relate to 1 way, 1.5 way, or 2 way? I'm assuming the stock R32 rear diff is a 1 way?

I was under the impression GTRs had 2 way rear diffs?
Definitely mechanical tho, not viscous

It's a 2 way and not many plates in it so the locking isn't super strong compared to aftermarket stuff.
Also less plates = faster wear.

First step is put the plates in "grippiest" order ie rotor stator rotor stater rather than the least grippy rotor stator stator etc they come from the factory. Then if you want more shim from there

It says in the manual how much torque is required to move both wheels...
They are always worn, shim it up tighter than factory, easy to make the shims
