who has it? the strongest bottom end that is....is it toyota's famous 2jz-gte or is it the nissan powerhouse rb26dett? there are many supra's here in the states making well over 650rwhp on the stock motor. by that i mean not even the valve cover has been taken off...ever. now i know that the RB is strong but what is it limit before it snaps its first rod or blows its first head gasket? please help me because i'm doing my best to fend off all these supras owners and their negative comments about the RB. thanks for your comments....

the RB has a weaker head gasket :( it is a composite gasket where the supra has a metal one , so the supra can take more boost with the standard gasket , as for HP , if you eliminate the gaskets there is nothing in it , GTR's have made over 800 hp on standard bottom end , not bad for a 2.6

agree with guy

We won't get into "mine is better than your on the register"

I have owned a supra and they are great cars, luckily Toyota are a great manufacturer who over engineered the car.

It comes down to personal preference:)
