I have them on my car. I no nothing about cars but love them. When you say stop they do exactly that. Fast, no fuss or screeching. The instructor (Colin) at CAT driver training was very impressed by them. If you got the money go for it.

If you are down south happy to meet up. GU27 area.

I got some earlier this year for 4k and id say they are worth the money, ive read so many threads on here about squealing pads, discs warping after very low mileage , bedding in procedure and what to do if you get pad deposits on the disc causing pedal vibration.

heres the pro,s for the cc discs
larger diameter
never rust
no lip on the disc
much longer life
larger pad swept area
great braking performance long after steels have warped on track
+100 top trumps points
and at the end of the day when you want to sell the car the ceramics will sell on all day long and you can refit the steels

only downside I found with these is that the front pads rattled around in the caliper as they were slightly undersize so I made this right with some 0.4mm shims for a snug fit after being totally ignored by surface transforms.

Does anyone know whether these will work with the Alcon super kit? Discs look too narrow at first glance.
